Course Overview

CA Foundation Course is the entry level for the Chartered Accountancy Course which can be applied after the completion of Class XII or any other equivalent course from a recognized board of education and a recognized institution. First the students have to apply and register for the course and complete a compulsory 4-month period of study before appearing for the Exams. Once the exams are passed, the next level is the Intermediate Course followed by the CA Final Course.

The graduates and post graduates are exempted from the CA Foundation Course and can directly register for the intermediate course. The examination for the CA Foundation includes 4 exams, out of which 2 are descriptive and 2 are objective. The exams are held in the months of May and November in a year.

  • Business Law & Business Correspondence and Reporting
  • Business Mathematics and Logical Reasoning & Statistics.
  • Business Economics & Business and Commercial Knowledge

Eligibility Criteria

  • The students can appear in the CA Foundation exams after they have completed the mandatory study period of four months.
  • Students who have passed Class XII or any other equivalent exam can apply for CA Foundation Course.
